How Do I Mass Update My Domains WHOIS Contacts? Print

You can apply WHOIS contact changes to many of your domains at once.  This is called a Mass Contact Update.

WARNING - Changes to domain registrant information WILL TRIGGER an ICANN Registrant Verification to the registrant email address, you must respond to authorize the changes. Mass Update Whois Contacts :  

First login to your Namesonic account and click your "My Domains" list.  Your result list should include all domains requiring updating.

Now perform, , perform 2 steps:. 

[1] Activate the checkbox ("selecting") beside each domain that is to be included in the mass update.

[2] At end of domain listing, there is a "With Selected" dropdown. Open it and select  "Edit Contact Information".

 





You should now arrive at the Bulk update interface, and the "Edit Contact Information" is displayed , as shown below.

Your domain "selection" for Mass Update also displays.  You are now ready to update your Whois contacts.

CAUTION

 The contact info submitted IS APPLIED TO ALL SELECTED DOMAINS - ( includes : Registrant / Admin / Technical )

 Be sure that you want each of targeted domain to contain the same contact records.
